At P.volve, we love hearing about clients’ progress and seeing how they’re crushing our workouts. These ladies, near and far, are giving the P.volve community some major inspo through their incredible before and after transformations.
For this week, we're featuring a classic case of a college athlete-turned-high-impact-workout junkie left Saebryn with joint pain, fatigue and ultimately feeling defeated despite all her efforts to get the definition and confidence she's always wanted. "Then," (her words), "I found P.volve." Read on!
"I had played soccer my entire life and played in college at the Division I level for two years. I have always worked out every day (not kidding), but was constantly doing super intense HIIT training, running, and lifting light weights. My muscles were constantly tired and I was in pain every day. These workouts put a toll on not only my body, but my mind. Then, I found P.volve.
My body has never felt better and I can wake up every day not in pain. The functional training designed by Stephen has benefitted my body and joints in ways I did not think were possible. I genuinely look forward to the time spent doing the workouts and am much more flexible now. With figuring out a diet and style of eating that works for me along with doing P.volve, I actually have defined abs you can see for the first time in my life. I’m longer, leaner, stronger, and happier and am the most toned I have ever been. Most importantly, I am confident now. Keep in mind, I’ve only done P.volve for about a month now- just getting started! :)"
How did you find out about P.volve?
I found out about P.volve on Instagram. I follow many top models, including Nadine Leopold and Sanne Vloet who have both modeled for Victoria’s Secret. I find a lot of my workout inspiration on Instagram and noticed these two doing P.volve workouts and actually working out with Stephen Pasterino himself. After I saw their posts, I followed P.volve on Instagram, but didn’t start streaming right away.
How do you fit P.volve into your life?
I fit P.volve into my daily life seamlessly. Being able to stream the workouts through the app whenever AND wherever is an absolute game changer. I find that if I don’t have time to actually go to the gym and stream a workout there, I will stream it from my own home. If I have an extra 20 minutes, I’ll do the Arms and Abs express workout. I’m addicted and love to squeeze in quick workouts whenever I can.
What's your favorite P.volve equipment?
My favorite piece of equipment is the gliders. Don’t get me wrong- I love the classic 2lb arm weights because with the moves designed in P.volve I can really feel my abs work through using the arm weights, but the gliders win. You use so many muscles with the gliders. They intensify everything and are KILLER when it comes to the designated ab segments. They really target each individual muscle and make everything so much harder than it already is
What's your favorite streaming video?
My favorite P.volve streaming video is Day 1 of the 6 Day Body Total Body Program. I actually just scrolled through the library and took like 20minutes to decide on which video because I honestly love them ALL. It really just depends on what mood I am in- whether that is ready for a full body burn or something lighter focusing on stretching and toning. I just finished a P.volve workout and writing this is making me want to do another right now. Like I said, I am addicted.
What's your favorite P.volve move?
My favorite move is by far the step back with hand weights that you extend to the ceiling and look up. It works my butt and my arms, but especially stretches and tones my abs.
