P.volve Transformations — Ginger B.

At P.volve, we love hearing about clients’ progress and seeing how they’re crushing our workouts. These ladies, near and far, are giving the P.volve community some major inspo through their incredible before and after transformations.

This week’s submission comes from a busy mom who needed a major revamp to her workout regimen. After finding herself injured and defeated from intense workouts, Ginger needed to find a flexible, quick routine that delivered real results. All it took was a bit of research, and she found herself diving head first into the Summer Sprint Challenge—and loving it! The rest, as they say, is history.

Where are you from?
I live in Powell, OH a suburb of Columbus, OH.

How did you find out about P.volve?
I had recently successfully finished a great weight loss program. I worked hard and lost weight and inches, but even after regular high intensity HITT and heavy lifting I wasn’t seeing the tone I wanted. We had a trip planned for Spring Break and I wanted to look amazing in my swimsuit. I did a search for ways to lift your bum and P.volve popped up in the search. I did some research and decided to
give it a go! After the first workout out I felt all the exercises in my bum and not in my quads—a first for me! I was immediately hooked!

What inspired you to do the Summer Sprint Challenge?
For the first time in my life I look forward to working out. So, while I don’t need the motivation to workout these days, I do love anything that challenges me to push harder so I can get the results I want. Plus our neighborhood pool opens on May 23 so any extra I can achieve before swimsuit season, I’m in! 

How do you fit P.volve into your day?
I have three kids and I work full-time. So having the ability to stream workouts at home is key for me. My kids know how important it is for me to workout so in the evenings after running the kids to and from their activities I steal away to my bedroom and knock out a workout. If I’m strapped for time I still know I can get a solid full body workout in just 20 mins. 

What is your favorite piece of equipment?
I love them all but I have to say the p.band is my favorite. I feel it in my shoulders, biceps, triceps, upper back, and abs! I love it! 

Favorite streaming video?
Ah this is a hard one. There are so many great videos. I love/hate any of ones that have heavy mat work because they really get my butt on fire. But if I have to choose one I think it’s the 20-minute sculpted arms and abs because I know if I don’t have a ton of time I’m still going to get a solid full body workout in plus it’s a great one to add to any of the other videos if you are looking to add more arms/abs to your day. 

Favorite move?
The shift back! Fires up my arms, back, abs and my stabilizing butt starts to burn!  
Anything else you want to add about your journey with P.volve?
I’ve only been doing P.volve for a little more than 3 months now and I can honestly say it’s completely changed my view on fitness. I hurt my knee and was told to stop doing squats. But I didn’t know what else to do so I kept over exerting myself and pushed through the pain bc that’s what I thought I had to do. Now I know there is a more effective way to transform your body that doesn’t
mean doing more damage to my body. I just turned 39 years old and I can’t believe the changes I’ve seen in just a few short months. I’m actually looking forward to turning 40 next year because I know I’m going to look even better in a year because of this program!
