At P.volve, we love hearing about clients’ progress and seeing how they’re crushing our workouts. These ladies, near and far, are giving the P.volve community some major inspo through their incredible transformations.
Texas-based Rachel H. has a close connection to the P.volve method, which is probably why she’s such a dedicated streamer. She earned her doctorate in physical therapy back in 2013, and since then has continued to improve her connection to her body. “I love the mind-body connection this gives me, while building lean muscle while also focusing on stretching and flexibility,” she told us.

How did you first find out about P.volve?
I found out about P.volve from the "I Don't Get It" podcast (shoutout to Ashley I), and am an avid listener. I was so intrigued by P's methodology behind the program, and wasn't having the results I wanted with bootcamp or kettlebell style classes, and couldn't seem to stick to consistent pilates reformer schedule.
What were your initial goals when first starting to do P.volve consistently?
My initial goals were to not only slim down for my wedding in September, but I also wanted a program I could perform consistently. I wanted to create lean muscle and build my confidence. I love the streaming that allows me to fit it into my schedule!
How did you fit P.volve into your daily routine?
My work schedule can change on a daily basis, so I try my best to wake up and do a video before work (if that snooze button doesn't get me!) If I don't, I try to do a video after I get home while cooking dinner.
How did your nutrition play into your transformation experience?
Nutrition did play a role in my results, and I have personally found success “eating clean”, incorporating quality vegetables and protein [into my diet], focusing on non-processed foods and eliminating sugars and grains (grains make me bloated and gain weight.)
What became your favorite workouts or pieces of equipment?
I haven't come across a workout I didn't love, but some of my favorite workouts are Everything Lengthens, Living on the Edge and am also loving the new p.3 workouts! I really love using the slant board with the p.ball, and the p.3 has also been awesome and challenging.
What were the unexpected results you saw or felt?
Other than feeling overall more relaxed, flexible (but strong), I felt like I had more energy at work and was able to perform the physical aspects of my job better and activate my core better to protect my back since I do a lot of lifting.
