P.volve Takes LA: A Recap

It’s hard to believe we’re back from the west coast already. Those trips always go by in a flash, mostly because they’re always jam packed with events, but the incredible weather and chill vibes certainly have something to do with it.

This particular LA trip, though, went down a little differently than they have in the past. Not only did we have our first ever LA pop-up studio all weekend (a nice sneak peek at what’s to come!), but we gathered some of P.volve’s biggest fans, like Helen Owen and Sanne Vloet, all under one roof to collectively countdown to Coachella in proper P.volve fashion.

From morning training sessions on the lawn to hiking the trails, we took full advantage of the great outdoors whenever possible. It’s pretty crazy to think that the average person spends nearly 90% of their time indoors nowadays, when so much of our biology is tied to nature. Getting some fresh air is truly one of the best things you can do for your mind and body!

Staying in a full house also meant everyone was so busy, food was kind of an afterthought. Fortunately, we were able to have incredible nutritious food catered— think DIY acai bowls and protein-packed Buddha bowls— with leftovers that also served as the perfect snack on those long festival days. We even had a special chef-prepared (and of course “RK approved”) dinner on our last nightarugula salad with pomegranates, blueberries and avocado, grilled salmon and chicken and lotsof roasted veggies (don’t worry, recipes are on the way!)

One of the things we loved the most about LA was how ecologically advanced the markets were. We couldn’t help but notice how all the fresh juices came in glass bottles instead of plastic, and even the water served at Revolve Festival was in reusable aluminum! We hope it won’t be long before NYC catches up with this earth-friendly trend.

No doubt, It feels good to be back home at P.volve HQ. But suffice it to say, we’ve never had an LA trip that didn’t end with us wanting more (and keeps us coming back time and again!)
